Dr. Christine Younes is a bilingual doctorate-level Speech and Language Pathologist with 11 years of international experience, specialising in a range of complex speech and language disorders. Dr. Christine earned her Doctorate in Speech and Language Pathology, with a particular focus on non-verbal communication and generalisation. Her expertise lies in multicultural therapy, particularly within Arab cultures, as well as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), traumatic brain injury, picky eating, central auditory processing disorder, and early language development.
Dr. Christine most recently worked at Rady Children’s Hospital in California, USA. Dr. Christine’s career also includes significant experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Clinic Manager in the UAE and the GCC region. She received the “Distinguished Early Career Professional Certificate” from the American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA) in 2022, and is certified by both ASHA and the Dubai Health Authority.
Dr. Christine has presented at numerous international webinars and national conferences, sharing her knowledge and expertise with fellow professionals. Her passion lies in ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn the power of communication, using evidence-based practices to help families support their child’s unique potential. She provides therapy services in both English and Arabic, reflecting her commitment to serving a diverse range of patients and families.
