Sujata Noronha has over 21 years’ experience in pediatric physiotherapy and a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy. Working under excellent mentors motivated her to make a difference. This paved the way for learning different skill sets, including NDT, Sensory Integration, and Early Interventions, as well as highly standardised Neonatal therapy training.
According to Sujata, the earlier therapy begins, the better the results! Her approach to therapy is family-centric with an individualized goal-oriented treatment approach focused on setting realistic goals, involving the family and considering the child as a whole. She incorporates both motor and sensory components in her treatments, since in the world of neurodevelopment both go hand in hand.
Sujata Noronha has trained in Advance NDT Pediatrics (USA), with specialization in baby treatment, Sensory Integration, Brazelton Newborn Behavioral Observation (UK), Family and Infant Neurodevelopment Education (UK) and Advanced Neonatal therapy (USA), along with Advanced training in Aquatic Therapy (Pediatrics).
Her expertise is in early intervention, starting as early as newborns. She believes the way to move forward is to have a prehabilitative approach with emphasis on optimal motor and sensory neurodevelopment through movement exploration and play.
Sujata is fluent in English and Hindi and she can offer therapeutic support in both languages.
